Onitsuka Tiger was founded in 1949 with the philosophy of bringing up a sound youth through sports, by making sports shoes using original ideas and applying epoch-making techniques.

Onitsuka Tiger - Mexico 66. Introduced in 1966, these were the first shoes with the famous Tiger Stripes. This style has a soft leather upper in vibrant yellow with black stripes and a lace-up front.

Onitsuka Tiger - Fabre 74. These shoes recieved extensive fame and notoriety in Japan as Dave Cowens, the NBA MVP of 1973, wore them during an NBA All Star tour in 1975 and 1976. Special features of the Fabre 74 include the legendary ‘octopus’ sole pattern, created by Mr. Onitsuka and inspired by his octopus salad.

Onitsuka Tiger - Injector DX. By 1972, Onitsuka Tiger had developed an innovative manufacturing process called ‘Direct Injection’ which improved the durability and stability of football boots. The INJECTOR DX is a stud-free street shoe based on the original football boot from 1972.
